I was about to say the same thing. Against their big rivals the Argentinians too. Their arch enemy.

Chavez Jr. almost won at the end though and made it exciting. Sad that Jr. never lived up to his dad's status, but then again his dad was a legend.

I heard a statistic a while back that when a Mexican guy fights an Argentine guy in professional boxing, the Argentine guy wins something like 90% of the time. I need to research that a little more. I also think that Mexicans come out on top of the Mexican/Puerto Rican rivalries the vast majority of times, but don't have a statistic.

Edit: I was in a taxi, on the way to pick up my money, when I saw online that Chavez knocked him down in the 12th. I was basically having a heart attack, but Martinez was able to stick it out and I was able to finish the ride to the sportsbook.
