North Korea, 70 years and counting. There are precious few souls left there who remember a world before the Kim regime, in time there will be nobody left who remembers life without constant NSA surveillance, a world before 9/11, before the Euro, before multiculturalism.
That picture of North Korea as a superefficient prison is a bit exaggerated. Western culture, tech, and entertainment gets into the country quietly via the usual black market means. The place continues to exist only because China backs it, and in common with other pissy small Asian nations like Singapore, Burma, and Thailand is only able to control its citizenry out of a combination of culture, manageable physical borders, and recent historical luck. The moment any of those balancing vectors changes, North Korea's regime is gone in hours.

Two buses packed with refugees arrived at the park in Lima in west Sweden on Sunday, but around 30 passengers initially refused to disembark.
Charlotte Jacobsson, a press spokesperson for Sweden's Migration Board (Migrationsverket) confirmed to The Local that a number of the asylum seekers had felt uncomfortable being surrounded by so much forest.

So two Somali truck drivers refused to deliver alcohol. They were fired and later awarded 240.000$ for the terrible act of having their religious freedom impeded.

Two pigs' heads with racist slogans written on them have been found outside a church in west Belfast.
They were found at St Luke's Church of Ireland in Northumberland Street on Saturday morning.
Police are treating it as a "race hate incident". The church is not currently in use.
There had been social media rumours the church had been sold to the Islamic community for a mosque, but that has been denied by local representatives.
A spokesperson for the Church of Ireland Diocese of Connor said: "It is completely untrue that St Luke's has been sold. Any sale would only take place after a process involving the select vestry, diocesan council and representative church body.
"The highly distasteful act which has taken place is profoundly saddening."
PSNI Assistant Chief Constable Stephen Martin tweeted: "This is disgusting and must be condemned in the strongest terms. There is no place for race hate. Info to us on 101."
Ch Insp Gavin Kirkpatrick added: "Officers are currently carrying out enquiries into this incident which must be condemned by all."
'Sinister and disgusting'
Sinn Féin assembly member Fra McCann also condemned the incident.
"This is a building that is used for community events and it would no doubt have been distressing to come across such a gruesome sight," he said.
"The fact that anti-Islamic slogans were written on the pigs' heads makes this all the more sinister and disgusting."
DUP assembly member William Humphrey said: "Those responsible for this sickening incident are not representative of the Shankill community."
The North Belfast MLA added: "Those who have started and spread false rumours about the future of this church building bear a major part of the responsibility for what has occurred."
Progressive Unionist Party leader Billy Hutchinson said the incident was "absolutely reprehensible".
"The incident highlights the dangers of rumour and speculation and also reinforces the need for further education to challenge negative attitudes towards people from other backgrounds," he said.
The SDLP's Alex Attwood said it was disgraceful.
"Hate and intolerance should have no space in our community and those responsible should have no hiding place on our streets," he said.
Fuck me, if the Muslims really start pushing shit in Ireland it could turn really ugly. The IRA and its various splinter factions always seem to have been smouldering away in there. Shit, the Irish have always stopped fighting each other when someone tries to stomp on their turf, the Protestants and Catholics could actually wind up on the same side at this rate.

I find that staggering. He's now espousing establishment views that benefit the elite.
The old school IRA he joined was heavily Marxist-Leninist influenced, they considered themselves revolutionaries.

Quote:CHILD brides as young as 12 have been ordered to stay with the men they were forced to marry after European officials agreed to recognise the partnerships.
By Jake Burman
PUBLISHED: 00:00, Fri, Oct 23, 2015 | UPDATED: 06:34, Fri, Oct 23, 2015
It comes amid fears of a paedophilia epidemic inside European refugee camps after a pregnant 14-year-old girl went missing from a Dutch centre.
Fatema Alkasem disappeared along with her 24-year-old husband in August and police are concerned the Syrian girl needs medical care.
The Netherlands is facing an issue of providing asylum to young girls who are married in their homeland but are below the Dutch age of consent.
Dutch asylum centres are reportedly housing 20 child brides aged between 13 and 15, while three a week on average are arriving to the country.
The brides were granted legal permission to join their older partners after the country recognised marriages involving young teenagers if they are officially registered in their home country.
But some have slammed the recognition by Dutch authorities, claiming it condones paedophilia because the age of sexual consent in the Netherlands is 16.
Outraged Dutch Labour MP Attje Kuiken said: "A 12-year-old girl with a 40-year-old man - that is not a marriage, that is abuse.
"We're talking about really young children, girls 12, 13 years old. I want to protect these children."
The Dutch government is amending family laws so that reunification applications only accept marriages when both partners are at least 18-years-old.
But Ms Kuiken called on the government to do more for young Syrian brides until the law is changed in December.
According to Breitbart she said: "The government should take them into foster care and protect them, because before the new law comes into force, they can still be subject to abuse.
In other EU member states, such as Germany, child brides that arrive to claim asylum are treated as unaccompanied minors.
During the asylum process they can apply for a recognition of the marriage, however the individual circumstances are considered.

WEDNESDAY, 23:47 DOMESTIC, FOREIGN
AFP
A group of Dutch officials raided tonight, beaten and kicked in the north of Paris. The group of municipal officials from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Arnhem a three-day visit to the banlieues to look at the French approach to counter the radicalization of young people.
Correspondent Frank Renout was with the group on stage. In the NOS radio program With Eye on Tomorrow, he said that the group had just had a conversation with youth workers in one of the problem areas in the northern suburb of Saint-Denis.
When the officers came out and went running toward a next appointment, in a gym a few hundred meters away, they were attacked by a group of youths.
Officials were pepper sprayed in the face. They were kicked and beaten and a bag was stolen. One of the officers suffered a head wound. The Dutch beat running on the flight.
According Renout seemed that the group was met, "but it could just as well have happened a little further, because in Saint-Denis hang in many places and in doorways groups dealers around."
The incident was no reason to cancel the visit prematurely. The rest of the evening was canceled, but today officials hit the road again.

Why? You are limiting your thinking.
I have already mentioned in this thread, that the term 'ruling elite' is used in history to refer to the power structure in a society.
You have allowed yourself to think in a limited way, and when someone says elite, you think "conspiracy theory"(a pejorative term used to shut down discussion).
....
We must stop thinking in limited ways. Being part of this forum means stepping out of the matrix and seeing women for how they really are. I think it can extend to stepping out of other matrixs and seeing things objectively, for how they really are.
Quote:The Islamic State is sending hit squads into Syrian refugee camps to kill Christians. The strategy is part of a larger commitment to wipe out Christianity, according to a former Islamic State jihadi, who was sent to a refugee camp but changed his mind about his mission.
Witnesses to the murders are afraid to speak out for fear they will be targeted next.
One aid worker, quoted by the Sunday Express, said, "They're like a mafia. People are even killed inside the camps, and the refugees are afraid to say if they saw somebody get killed. If you ask them, they'll say, 'I don't know, I was asleep'."
The jihadi squads are also kidnapping Christian girls and selling them into sex slavery.
"The last time I went inside a camp, I had a policeman with me,' said the aid worker. "The camps are dangerous because they have IS, Iraqi militias and Syrian militias. It's another place for gangs. They're killing inside the camps, and they're buying and selling ladies and even girls."
In September, Lebanese Education Minister Elias Bou Saab estimated 20,000 Islamic State radicals had infiltrated the Syrian refugees camps and were planning to get into Europe with the stream of refugees.
“My gut feeling is they [the Islamic State] are facilitating such an operation. To go to Europe and other places ... From Turkey to Greece,” Saab said. “You may have, let’s say, 2% [of the 1.1 million] that could be radicals. That is more than enough. We have had that also with our camps here - you find 2-3% of them.”
Saab also noted that refugees from Syria were arriving that didn’t look like normal refugees. “They are all dressed with something unified, uniform, vests," he said.
Since 2003, 1,800 Christians have been butchered by Islamist terrorists with another 100,000 fleeing Mosul, Iraq when the Islamic State took over the city in June 2014.
Christians have been the target of Islamic-State affiliated attacks from the horrific Westgate Mall siege in Nairobi to Boko Haram’s ruthless campaign of death and destruction in Nigeria.
Most recently in Uganda, a Christian mother of eight was killed by Islamists angry at her husband for converting from Islam to Christianity. The murder came one month after the husband's brother was killed in a similar reprisal attack for converting.
Mamwikomba Mwanika was dragged out of her house and later found dead close by in a pool of blood.
Although religious freedom is guaranteed in Uganda, converts to Christianity in the predominately Muslim eastern part of the country have been subjected to extreme persecution including poisonings, beatings, gang rapes and killings.
