There is maybe 250 - 300 persons there. It was hosted by that girl from Vancouver -Sara Parker-Toulson --flew into TO just for the protest. Half girls and boys. Being covered by the media and police presence. I had to tape from the distance -- too uncomfortable to tape if others watching.

You're being generous with the 250-300 being there. I would bet several people were there because gatherings of people generally attract more out of curiosity.

If you did a quick count on the video posted, you would get close to 200. However, this being TO, I thought a lot more would have shown up.

Looks to me like 100 people watching 35 protest. I seriously doubt the majority were there to participate, they were people walking in the park or heard the bullhorn and want to see what all the nonsense is about, people see a group and want to know whats going on.

That was the impression I got. All the tourists gathered around because it looked like someone was going to give an important speech, plus CP 24 was there with a camera and a reporter.

My apologies, I think I over estimated, they were in a big circle around the speakers -- which looked big at first glance. But when I tried to count in the video, I am getting closer to 150 persons.

Welcome to the new media landscape. Get a few people an order of magnitude stands to watch then if you've got two personal people in your group you can convince bystanders to join the crowd for the time. How "Occupy" usually worked
