So we have passed the one week mark here in Bucharest. I also enjoy this city a lot, especially when I'm hanging out with James. But like I have seen other members here say, getting numbers and especially facebook is easy, but sealing the deal can take a lot of work.

Last night I had a second round with the Mexican no-longer-virgin before she left, and then I had a date with a cute, well educated girl. 160 cm, petite girl.

I took her to a nice lounge close to my place called The Embassy. There are a few of these around the city, it's a good date venue. I ordered a bottle of wine for 50 lei, she said she would only have one glass like a good girl but changed her mind and had half the bottle.

After a couple of glasses I got her to say "Tall guys make me wet" in my language. I asked her where she likes to be kissed, and she said her neck. So I kissed her neck and she let out a few moans. So far so good, but I didn't expect any action that night.

After finishing the bottle we were heading towards the subway station, right next to my place. She said she had to go home, I said let's have one more glass of wine. She said she didn't want more wine since she had early work. I offered milk and chocolate. She said "oooh do you have chocolate!" and said she would come up but only for 10 minutes.

During those 10 minutes I managed to get her panties off (but not her dress) and eat her out for a few minutes, but apparently when they say 10 minutes here they really mean it, so despite all my efforts she left without returning the favor. I guess I can't fool a lawyer.

It is more subtle in Bucharest germanico. It isnt so black and white.

have you tried Tinder there? I was only three nights in Bucharest and could only actually dedicate myself to this in one night, but that night I met with a cute girl (cute face, nice boobs, clearly a 7) I met through Tinder and we were making out after some 2 hours. Was not able to take her home.

The last of the three nights I went to some club called Bamboo with friends who live there, but he club had a whole different dynamic from the normal Western places: no dance floor, just tables with bottle service, great quantity of prostitutes or girls with a similar frame of mind, lots of gipsies spending fortunes with them... A total disappointment. Yet the club looked really expensive and trendy on the surface,and yes a few 8s and 9s, though too much fake boobs and asses for my taste. I still cannot explain what was going on there.

One thing I know: girls from Tinder looked really nice, and I could find interesting and available girls there.

Is that based on Bucharest - and more broadly EE - experience?
I've only been to Bucharest once myself - and that was just a two day family trip - but if the girls are anything like those here in neighboring Bulgaria, same night lays are not the norm (exceptions to every rule of course) and regardless of how much you push for that lay on the first, second or third date, most girls will likely not go home with you until she's all but certain she's ready to sleep with you (which here usually seems to happen on the second or third date or not at all).
Baiting with movie watching, wine tasting etc. is also likely to fail until she's made the aforementioned decision. They know what's expected if they go home with a man.

Though things might be slightly different for young people, I'm speaking from my late 30s experience with EE women from mid 20s to 30s.

No, actually I agree to some extent. I've found myself guilty in the past of significantly overestimating the English capabilities of many of my fellow Danes.
I've sometimes wondered why - in countries, not just Scandinavian, saturated with American and British movies and TV (subtitled, not dubbed) and other English language influences - that so many people seem to barely be conversational in English.

Now personally I can hardly string two sentences together in German anymore despite having had it on the schedule for many years in school, but that's due to a near total lack of exposure to it once I was out of high school.
English on the other hand is everywhere and not a language most Scandinavians really have to make a deliberate effort to encounter frequently if not daily.

I got some of the hottest Tinder matches I had anywhere. Getting them on a date is a challenge. I had two dates from Tinder (one was the lawyer girl from my previous post). From my experience it's fairly easy to get makeouts, and they have no problem doing it in public. Even the more conservative girls would let me kiss their neck etc. in public. But for getting the bang, MikeS sums it up quite well. Girls are smart and have good self control.

Our Bamboo experience was similar to yours. It's a cool place and worth experiencing, but not the most fruitful for pickup. You can find girls just as hot anywhere during day and night, just with less plastic and makeup.

This is down to personal taste. I like girls here much better than Polish and Norwegian girls, and I think James agrees. Compared to my taste Norwegian and Polish girls are overrated. We are both indigenous Norwegians, but we don't have blonde hair.

I'm interested to hear if this statement is based on your own experience from Romania or other Balkan countries.

Our experience is that you can number/facebook close girls who doesn't show much interest, and it can actually lead somewhere. Whereas in other countries such as Norway and Poland, I have often experienced that I get very physical with a girl in a club and yet it's going nowhere unless I get the bang the same night.

What is a flakiness level in Bucharest ? Is it higher or lower than in those 5 cities: Oslo, Stockholm, Krakow, Riga, Tallinn ?
In what cities, I've mentioned above, girls are more likely to say "F off" if they reject a guy ?
As Norwegians guys can you say that Sweden, Poland, Latvia, Estonia are better than Norway in terms of girls and life generally - emotional satisfaction (I'm not asking about prices) ? The most curious comparison is between Norway and Sweden.

Better results to be had in other spots in country.

I have been to Norway, Sweden and Iceland. To my knowledge they are 100% English speakers! I find it hard to believe Romanians are as well.

I've met a few Romanians here in New York that speak French, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are more people like that in Romania. Remember, Romanian is a Romance language and many of its words have similar orthographies to those in Spanish, Italian, etc.


Edit: Just skimmed some Romanian language videos on Youtube out of pure interest. It's amazing how many similarities it exhibits with some of the other Romance languages. Romanian is very phonemic and it probably wouldn't be too difficult to pick up some of it, especially for people already close to fluent in another Romance language.

If you go for university girls and lawyers sure they can speak English. If you go for the rest then you might run into problems.

I've came across taxi drivers in bucharest (and most of them) that don't speak a word or just very basic English. The immigrant taxi drivers in Scandinavia might not be good at English though.
